Determining Status of a Requisition

Before You Start . . .


Step-by-Step . . .


1 Click on Inquiries on the menu bar at the top of your DaFIS screen and select Purchasing from the drop-down menu.
2 Click on the PR Query button.
3 Enter the PR document number, or other search criteria, and click on the Search button.
4 If a Purchasing buyer has been assigned, their ID will be indicated. Double-click on their user ID to get contact information.
5 If the buyer has processed a Purchase Order (PO), the PO Issued field will contain a Y.
6 If a PO has been issued, close out of the Requisition Lookup screen.
7 Click on the PO Query button.
8 Enter the PR document number, or other search criteria, and click on the Search button. After the search results appear, click on Open Document to get more information on the order (e.g., vendor, items, accounts).

Note: Initiators of PRs automatically receive e-mail notifications when a buyer has been assigned to their PR, and when a Purchase Order has been placed by the buyer. If you are a PR initiator, and you are not receiving these notifications, check your spam/junk folder, and check that you have not opted-out on the User Options screen in Transaction Processing.
