CAT Purpose
The purpose of the Customer Advisory Team (CAT) is to assist in the development and refinement of DaFIS and other campus wide systems and procedures to meet the business needs of the campus.
CAT Representatives
The CAT consists of representatives from each school, college, division and vice chancellor’s organization. Members must be nominated and serve a term of one year. Campus users are encouraged to contact the representative for their school/division with any concerns or suggestions.
DaFIS Steering Committee
The CAT Chair serves as a member of the DaFIS Steering Committee, representing the campus-at-large in the decision making process. In this role, the CAT Chair will present the Steering Committee with suggested enhancements as they are identified and prioritized by the CAT.
CAT Subcommittees
The CAT, through a system of working subcommittees, will review all recommended enhancements. These enhancements will be evaluated with regard to several criteria including: the number of users affected; how critical the enhancement is to the campus community and to the business of the University.
CAT Updates
Minutes from the Customer Advisory Committee meetings are regularly posted. The updates page also contains any additional documents or updates resulting from the activities of the CAT.
