Install the AFS Software |
- You need to have administrative privileges on the machine to install the software.
- Double-click on the file you downloaded to start the install process.
- At the Welcome to the OpenAFS for Windows Setup Wizard window, click Next.
- At the End-User License Agreement window, accept the license agreement and click Next.
- At the Choose Setup Type window, select Custom.
- At the Custom Setup window, install only the AFS Client. Note: Do not install the Loopback adapter. Do not install the NetIDMgr Plug-in. Click Next.
- At the Configure AFS Client window, enter ucdavis.edu for the Default Cell. Change the Integrated logon option to Disable. Leave the other settings at their default. Click Next.
- At the Options for AFS Credentials window, uncheck Start AFS Credentials at startup. Leave the other settings at their default. Click Next.
- At the Ready to Install window, click Install.
- At the Completing the OpenAFS for Windows Setup Wizard, click Finish.
- When prompted, restart your computer before continuing with the configuration.
