Connecting to the Andrew File System
Before installing the DaFIS software you must connect the Q: drive to one of the campus AFS servers. The recommended connection method depends on the version of Windows on your computer. Click on the method in the following table for complete instructions.
Note: 6/11/08: At this time, we do not recommend the proxy server method due to some ongoing issues with the AFS proxy servers. It may not be possible to connect to TP with the proxy server method. When the issues are resolved, this method may again be an acceptable alternative to the AFS Client. This information will be updated as necessary.
